Unrealized Potential

I checked out this film because the reviews were surprisingly good. It had moments, I guess, but it was a lot of crude gone over-the-top gross with a few legitimate laughs sprinkled in. I feel like it fell short of its potential. The 80s flashback effect was amusing and the soundtrack great, but a touch of realism wouldn't have taken away from the film, I don't think. I mean--we didn't all pop mushrooms like crazy, did we? And getting laid was never that easy, was it?
No, I do not recommend this movie.
