Very powerful story, and excellent direction, but amazing performance by Shah Rukh Khan, at par with Dustin Hoffman's in Rain Man. For somebody who has acted in over 60 films, he actually makes you forget Shah Rukh and only see Rizwan Khan. That is very difficult to do...
I thought that Karan Johan might have toned down the 2nd half a bit, but otherwise and a wonderful tour de force and absolute must watch...
Yes, I recommend this movie.
