Safe to take the kids

A cute funny movie for all ages. We did laugh out loud. No swearing,drugs or sex. Not an Oscar worthy film but certainly safe and entertaining.

Fabulous

Loved this movie!! Better than I expected!!. Most unique movie ever!!. Three hours later I'm still thinking about it.. Don't let the length of the film keep you from seeing it. Time flew and not once did I wonder what time it was. This year more than ever there are more movies award worthy and this is just another. Put this on your list of must sees.You won't be sorry and don't forget the kleenex.

Took the wrong road

Leonardo, Kate and Kathy Bates are fabulous actors. Great drama but,...........I expected more. Was waiting throughout the film for something more to happen. I must have missed something and just can put my finger on my mixed emotions. I liked it but something was missing.

Made me Nervous !!!

This dog Marley made my husband and I extremely nervous, all his running around and and destroying anything he could get his teeth into. Drinking out of the toilet then kissing and licking after that grossed us out. There are funny parts and the ending is sad. I surprised myself by not crying but I guess I was just too nervous to feel anything else. I love animals but don't have a dog and this movie cleared up any doubts of ever wanting one. Scary.

Superb Intense Drama

Wtg Clint Eastwood !!! Was not expecting to like this movie as much I did ! I never like the bad language and the racial slurs, but somehow most of it seemed ok and appropriate for this film. Clints character is a very bigoted rotten old man,but.............. things change. What this man does to seek revenge will blow your socks off ! Emotional ending. (bring kleenex again) Also, I found it to have alot of humor in areas. All great acting and directing !!! Alot of films this year deserve Oscars and this is one. It will be interesting. GO and see , don't miss it !!!!

Not what I expected.

True stories are the best, although I think this one could have been better. It has history, suspense, drama and alot of courage, which it took for those to go against their ruler knowing the concequences. My biggest problem with this film was WHERE were the German accents???? Made it all less believable, and even confusing. If I were to suggest seeing this one it would be for history purpose only.

Fantastic film, acting ,story and drama. Meryl Streep is awesome. Alot of new films came out and I suggest putting this one on your list of must sees.

I completely agree with a previous reviewer...........the scene with the old lady was totaly tasteless. PG -13 ??????? If I had taken a 13 year old with me I would have DIED of embaressment !!! Otherwise the movie was just OK. It did have some funny parts. Not one of Carrey's best. I suggest waiting for the video.

Unusual and intense love story. You'll find yourself having a mix of love hate feelings. Excellent acting. Shocking ending. Well worth the time and $. Highly recommend seeing..
