Not for little kids

With the PG rating I didn't expect what we got. My kids are 4 and 6 and it was too violent for us. I would not recommend for little kids. There was a lot of gun use and very violent race scenes. I thought it went a bit too far. Oh and showing a little kid giving the middle finger salute is not something I like to promote. I like the costumes and sets. Much of it reminded me of a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory type movie. I'm not familiar with the original or the cartoon so maybe that is how they all are. I thought that was creative and fun. It could have been a much better family movie if they would have toned down the violence.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
