Very funny!

Wrong, right or indifferent - my 16 year old son came with us. Some of the language made me feel a little awkward with him next to me, but he loved it and he's traditionally more mature than some kids his age so I relaxed a little bit.
The "special" underwear and restaurant scene were hilarious! Heigl did a good job with that one! Gerard - well, he's just beautiful!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I was surprised and pleased that the movie was not just geared towards kids. The story was sweet and there were lots of little messages throughout. Very nicely done (and my entire family loved it).

Not as good as the book

For anyone who has read the book, the movie will not be as good. The movie diverts quite a bit from the details in the book and I'm not sure why. The plot in the book kept me turning the pages.
