Not as good as SuperBad

Overall disappointed at the movie, SuperBad was much better, in the same style of sex-oriented comedy, it also didn't do as good as Forgetting Sarah Marshall (which was really excellent). There were a few good laughs, Seth Green as an Amish was really funny, but that just wasn't enough to make it good. Should wait for the DVD

Nothing exceptional

Action scenes are a little too shaky to be good, and overall I was expecting something much better than that. It's definitely seeable, but only two stars for the lack of originality. The second half of the movie really looks too much like a crossover of "I, Robot" and "Live free or Die Hard" except it doesn't produce anything even half as good as any of these two movies...

Good action movie

It's a little long and the plot gets complicated, but I personally don't mind that kinda movie at all. Overall classic same old stories with terrorists, but DiCaprio, who now doesn't look like a child anymore, really plays it well. It also helped that I like Crowe a lot. An action movie worth seeing.

Another insult to a great video game

I was almost as angry when I left the theater as I was after Hitman, seeing the pile of s**t they have managed to create. I've played the video game for hours and hours which was awesome. This movie was as flat as your old open bottle of Coke. Even the tough guys crashing into a room and shooting at everything with rifles don't play it well! There are barely any bullet time action scenes that were THE mark of the game. And What the F is wrong with Mark Wahlberg??? After the terrible The Happening, 2008 doesn't look like a good year for him! AVOID!!!

Lovely

I haven't laughed as much for this kind of romantic comedy in a very long time. Ricky Gervais is simply absolutely brilliant at hating people. Go without hesitation!

Hilarious

I hadn't laughed like that in a while, the trio Stiller Downey Jr and Black is absolutely fabulous. With his role in Iron Man and now Tropic Thunder Downey Jr is really one of my favorite actors, he's just so good... If you don't like Ben Stiller's style, this movie is obviously not for you, but if you do you shouldn't be disappointed.

Not exactly what I expected

I was expecting a lot from that movie, and I wasn't completely disappointed by it at all, but it wasn't exactly what I had thought it would be. All the actors do a great job, but the overall story kinda leaves you unsatisfied... Not your typical movie, and I think worth watching.

Nothing much to say about it... If you like Woody Allen's movies, then there's absolutely no reason why you shouldn't like this one, it's as good as you'd expect it

Flat movie

There's barely any plot... The producers thought that just having two great actors on the set would sell their movie... No matter how good they are (they work really well together on the screen), if there's no story you can't make a good movie out of it. The 2nd star is for having DeNiro and Pacino. Without them, this movie would be 1 star and out for trash. I still wouldn't recommend this movie for DVD

SPECTACULAR

Great plot, great action, great actors and acting... It is much darker and more complex than Batman Begins, making it a really unique Batman movie, and especially more a unique movie in general. Christian Bale is as good as usual, and with Heath Ledger's performance, I'm afraid Jack Nicholson's Joker is from now on going to look like a cartoon character for kids... Absolutely brilliant movie, very certainly among the best movies of 2008 if not THE best.
