A refreshing change

I was skeptical going to see this movie as the original was a great movie but since then anything with Predator in its title has been a little lame.
From the opening scene it is obvious that the director has decided this movie will be an attention grabber. The story is well developed and the characters are introduced individually allowing the viewer to establish a like or dislike toward them.
People get wiped out, as you might expect with a movie in this genre, but they do fight back with some success which continues to keep your attention.
This movie will divide audiences down the middle. Some will love the refreshing take on a classic and some will expect a CGI filled explosion fest and will be disappointed.
I would recommend giving it a go and having an open mind. Movies like this are what they are but you might not want to leave your brain completely at home when going to see this one.
