OMGosh!
Of course I heard many takes on the movie, and I expressed to numerous people at that point I had not seen the movie, so they would curtail the conversation., however I had a sense of the "tone" of the movie.
On the other hand, I had no prior knowledge of the depths which would be explored in this film. I found it to be a phenomenal piece of work. I found it to be a celebrant of women from all walks, and all experiences....I found it humorous, I found it gut-wrenching, the manner in which the writings or poems were wrapped around the story lines, and the manner in which the words danced within the lives of these women was truly brilliant.
I found alot in that movie....but most of all I found the "Colored Girl" from Florida within me....
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This movie was hilarious as well as thought provoking.
Each character displayed their roles with true integrity of character.
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, it touched emotions in numerous areas.
