This is a movie that the professional movie critics hate but real people can't stop laughing about. I embarrassed my kids I was laughing so loud. It is fast paced and the viewer definitely has to suspend their belief of reality. Adam Sandler surrounds himself with good actors and they all just had a good time making a silly movie that touches enough things in everyones life that the viewer can relate to the characters.. Nicole Kidman goes against type and is worth the price of admission. This movie is packed with so many inside jokes that you probably need to see it more than once to get them all.
No build up in this movie. It goes straight to the adreniline. Very fast paced and engaging. Probably better than the Divinci Code. The plot grabs you and you forget about Tom Hanks in his previous role. Hanks' character in this movie is a facilitator (and a good one) but not the center piece like in Divinci Code. The pacing is different than most Ron Howard films...more like a Borne film.
