The IMAX was nice, but not required. I enjoy the better picture and the comfortable seats, but see this movie in any theater and you won't be dissapointed. Sure, I am a Star Trek fan and I thought this was the best movie I have ever seen. I took my family, who were not ST fans, and they LOVED the movie as well, so I know it's not just me. As mentioned. the characters were spot on. Capturing the quirks and nuances of each character was brilliant, Spock was especially good, having his usual conflicts between emotion and logic. I wont say more, (your welcome) just get out there and see this movie. JJ Abrams....I want MORE!
