This movie was lacking more talent, Angela Bassett needs to stop playing in these mediocre films, she is way too talented to be playing in roles such as this.

I loved Tyler Perrys "Why Did I Get Married", but "The Family That Prey's Together" was excellent. Alfrie Woodard, Kathy Bates, and Sanaa Lathan brought so much power to this movie. The entire cast was excellent. I felt that all the roles were perfect for the actors and actresses that played them. This Movie definitly deserves an Oscar Nomination and Win.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
