Cute even for little ones.

I took my six and four-year-olds to see this with my Mom last night. We all enjoyed it. There was a bad word or two (I recall "butt") but otherwise it was good. The boys laughed out loud a lot and it was entertaining for the adults.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

It's Thomas--that's the point.

The movie was a little slow, the new narrator's voice is a little...bit...slow. He sounds a little...bit...dull. But it's Thomas and our children were delighted with it.
We and almost ALL of the other families on hand to view the new movie were NOT delighted with the epic-length previews. At one point a father began to yell "START THE THOMAS MOVIE!!!!!" if that's any indication of their length. The worse of the two was definitely a cartoon called "Sushi Pack" which was about a set of super heros who were pieces of sushi. Couldn't have been more stupid.
This Thomas movie was MUCH better than the first Thomas Live on the Big Screen event we went to. It too was packed with cartoons before the movie. Then they showed some Thomas stories, and then that was it and they began showing other cartoons again. I realize they're all HIT franchises, but we didn't drive three-and-a-half hours to see Bob the Builder.
This new movie event was much better than the last event in that regard.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
