We have 3 kids (8, 7, and 3). This movie was the best family movie we've seen in quite a while. It was fun and entertaining for the adults and the kids. If you're our age (mid 30s), you will love the references to all the classic video games of the past. Great job!!!

Boring and Inappropriate

My 5-year old son summed it up best, "Daddy, the book wasn't boring, but that movie was really boring." Not appropriate for kids under 12, period. Too much violence, angst, too slow-moving and scary for that age group.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
