I thought Star Wars was my favorite movie...

This truly was the best movie I have ever seen based on story line and technological cinematography. I took my three and a half year old daughter to see the movie on opening day for the first showing at a "TRUE" IMAX theater at the Mall of Georgia. She was engaged the entire time and almost fell out of her seat on several occasions attempting to grab and reach for objects in front of her. She wanted to go back the next day so I took her to a closer, "IMAX Experience" theater. Not quite the same. The movie was filmed in 70mm and that's how it has to be projected. Anything smaller and the effect is greatly dimished, not terribly but it certainly doesn't blow your mind like a 23X30 meter screen setting!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
