A Big Disappointment

I read the unfavorable reviews on this site before I went to this movie and thought surely they were wrong. But they were NOT! I truly wish I had not wasted my time, and my money, on this movie. Other people walked out in the middle of the movie and I wish I could have convinced my husband to go, too. At the end of the movie a storm briefly prevented us from leaving the theater. While we waited, a conversation broke out among the people who had just left this movie. The majority of the group hated it too. -- It was slow. It was boring. The scenes were disjointed and confusing. None of the characters (except perhaps the child) made any connection with the audience. The plot was weak. Instead of dialogue, there were uncomfortably long scenes where the characters simply looked at each other or their knees. And the ending was absolutely ABSURD. AMC I would really like my $9 back.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
