Familiar story, relatively well told

This is a familiar story about a grown child's attempt to understand a parent's past decision, especially the difficult ones made by Jews during Word War II in France . However, this story has been told better in other movies.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

A beautifully told story with an incredibly nuanced performance by the title character. Touching, poignant, thought-provoking and disturbing. It will stay with you long after you leave the theater.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
