Butchery, and I'm not referring to the vampires!

It’s ironic that the director claims to have read all four of the books; this movie undermined everything stephenie meyer wrote. The screen adaptation butchered this beautifully addicting story. They wasted such an amazing cast on poor, awkward dialogue and interactions. The portrayal of Bella's character was pitiful, although I do not place the blame on Kristin Stewart. The audience couldn't stop laughing, and I'm pretty sure that reaction was not intended. Bella's constant unhappiness and the over-exaggerations were painful to watch. As an older fan, I was extremely disappointed as I watched one of my favorite stories get ruined on-screen. After seeing this movie I have to go back and reread to recapture the magic of this epic love story.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
