I took my granddaughter to see this movie and she liked it very much. She is 8 and has read most of the book but after when her mom ask if she would like to go see it again with her dad and her she said no thank you. There are a lot of good lessons learned in this movie and we talked about them after it was over. The part that she did not like was he ate the cheese and it kinda made her sick. LOL She had not read that part yet in the book. I would see it again.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
