Decent Movie

So I went to see this movie expecting it to fall to the sequel curse. Of course I really enjoyed the first movie, but another one? Well I have to say it was pretty good. I enjoyed it. I feel some of the jokes were repeated, but there was some fresh material added in. I really enjoyed Hank Azariah as the Egyptian prince. I would definitely reccomend this to people, especially those with children.

Great movie

I think they really caught the essence of the Star Trek movies. Karl Urban played a great Dr. McCoy. I think his characterization was spot-on. Zachary Quinto as Spock was amazing. That was a fantastic choice. The movie overall met my expectations. I don't think anyone at all will be disappointed. The updated graphics for things such as beaming and light speed really gave the movie the updated feel. I was glad the characters weren't really updated. I think the actors did a good job of keeping the basic personality traits that made the original characters distinct.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
