I Really Wanted to Like This Movie

It could have been great. But it wasn't. Storyline was choppy. Characters were cardboard with almost no arcs. Sets were the best part. In a word: BORING!
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Its no Raging Bull...

An OK film. The most predicable film I've seen in a decade. If you really want to see how a film like this is done, see Martin Scorsese's 1980 Raging Bull.

Excellent Summer Movie

Haven't seen anything as dark as this since Blade Runner. Excellent summer movie, and not without thought provoking questions about the meaning of life.

Slow As Pond Water

Go if you want to see beautiful costumes and sets. Forget trying to watch this for a plot. It starts and ends in basically the same place and takes forever to get there. This may be a short that is slowed down for feature length. Dreadful.
