Too much violence/bloodshed

I know everyone's impressed with the stunts done in this movie, & they ARE impressive, however, there was just too much violence & bloodshed for my taste. I actually thought this movie was HORRIBLE because it glorified killing people & made it look cool. I WOULD NOT recommend this movie to anyone, as it was quite disturbing. This is partly what's wrong with our society, too much violence/killing/bloodshed/crime, & movies like this don't help matters. THE ONLY reason I gave this 2 stars is for the cool stunts done by Angelina Jolie. I actually walked out part way thru the movie: sorry folks, this one's a BIG disappointment.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE STEVE CARELL!!

I'm recommending this movie due in most part to the WONDERFUL Steve Carell. He is SO FUNNY in this, he was PERFECT in this role. I THINK I AM IN LOVE WITH STEVE CARELL!!! HE'S WAAAAAY BETTER THAN BOTH MIKE MYERS & WILL FERRELL COMBINED!! HE'S SO HANDSOME!! He + Anne Hathaway together were a DEFINITE winning duo, really great together. This really was an entertainging & enjoyable movie, with some VERY FUNNY parts to it. LOVED IT, JUST GREAT. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE SEQUEL!!

SOOOO CUTE!!

Hey, I love panda bears in real life, I love Jack Black in real life, so this was a real winner for me! All the characters are so cute & this IS a funny movie. And of course it's a wonderful family movie, so what else is there to say?? Give yourself an animated treat, & go see this very enjoyoable movie, I highly recommend it.

TOTALLY AWESOME--THE HULK ROCKS!!!

OH MY GOSH....I was TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY by this 1000% better Hulk movie than the last Hulk movie, which doesn't even begin to compare. EXCELLENT performances by Liv Tyler & Ed Norton as the lead couple--I thought it was SO COOL when Liv Tyler's character Betty jumped on top of Bruce Banner when he was tied down & turning into The Hulk: WOW, now that's a dedicated girlfriend!!
This Hulk was SO SCARY, & SO REAL, HE TOTALLY FILLS UP THE MOVIE SCREEN!! LOVED IT!! You honestly think he's going to come bursting thru the screen after YOU personally. I've already had scary nightmares about the Hulk just from watching the TV ads, so I'd say this is definitely a much improved Hulk! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THIS MOVIE AGAIN & AGAIN, & AM ANXIOUSLY AWAITING THE SEQUEL!! IF YOU WENT TO SEE IRONMAN, YOU MUST GO SEE THIS ONE, THERE'S A VERY GOOD REASON WHY, BUT I DON'T WANT TO SPOIL IT. Special effects = TOTALLY ROCKS, THE 2 HULK CREATURES WERE SOOOO AWESOME, SCARY & REAL LIFE-LIKE. If it's action you want, you got it with this movie, so DON'T DELAY!!

Very Mysterious...

I disagree with all the naysers & the harsh movie critics on this one. I'm a person that really likes mystery-type movies, & to me this really was a mysterious movie. OK, so there's not a lot of super action in it--not every movie is supposed to be like that. If it's super thrilling action type movies that you're wanting to see, then go to see IronMan or The Hulk.
In my opinion, Mark Wahlberg WAS this movie--he carried it, & did it extremely well. In fact, he was one of the main reasons I came to see this movie, because of the clip I saw on TV w/him & the train conductors, which is my favorite scene in the whole movie.This is the first time I've seen Betty Buckley in years, & she also did her part extremely well as the crazy, paranoid old lady.
This WAS a suspenseful movie, because I was always thinking, hmmmm, wonder what's coming next. To me, I still don't think the "answer" to this movie was given conclusively, so I'm wondering if there's a part 2 coming. I really do recommend this movie, & I DO want to see it again when it comes out on DVD. If you like mysteries, then definitely go see this one & judge for yourself: DON'T LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!!

HARRISON FORD'S STILL GOT IT!!

A lot of fun action keeps this movie REALLY absorbing, non-dull, non-boring, so it doesn't feel like an over 2 hour movie. Adding Shia LaBeouf to the cast as the next gen Indy Jones Jr. was a definite POSITIVE--I really like him & feel that this was a TERRIFIC CHOICE for the future, & I can see already, the powers that be must be planning lots of sequels using Jr. I wasn't expecting the alien theme, & to me, that was an interesting plot twist. Harrison Ford's still got it as Indy, & he did a REALLY AMAZING job with all the stunts & action scenes. It was an overall fun, entertaining, & enjoyable installment in the Indiana Jones series.

ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENALLY AWESOME!!!

WOW, WOW, & AGAIN, WOW!!!! IF I COULD GIVE THIS MOVIE 10 STARS HERE ON MOVIETICKETS.COM, I WOULD!!!! This, BY FAR, beats ALL the other Marvel Comic movies to date, especially SpiderMan which looks childish compared to this.
ROBERT DOWNEY JR.IS SOOOO SEXY & **SUPER** as Tony Stark:he's funny, hunky, & ABSOLUTELY PERFECT in this lead role; Gwyneth Paltrow was an AMAZING Pepper Potts, the all-time BEST assistant anyone could have, especially a super-hero; Terrence Howard was funny & TERRIFIC as IronMan's friend/assistant; & once again, JEFF BRIDGES, WHO IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE ACTORS, as the ultimate bad guy, always so fabulous in his evil roles, way supersedes anything he's previously done in this role--LOVE the bald head too, it really "makes" his bad guy character, this lady finds it VERY SEXY, ALONG WITH THE BEARD & MUSTACHE--PLEASE KEEP IT ALL!! :):) I've actually ALWAYS thought he was sexy....
This movie actually has a PLOT to it--a REAL STORY, that just hooks you immediately after the movie begins, & doesn't let go until the absolute end. THERE'S NO POSSIBLE WAY TO BE BORED AT THIS MOVIE, AS IT IS NON-STOP ACTION, & all of the special inventions & gadgets in it are just soooooo amazing--wish we had stuff like that in real life! And those ironman suits--WOW, IT ALL LOOKED SO REAL, there were no "fuzzy lines" on either Obadiah or Ironman, so it looked real as opposed to special effects, you really couldn't tell at all. WHOEVER DID THESE SPECIAL EFFECTS DESERVES AN AWARD, BIG TIME!!!
In closing, let me just say: I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THIS MOVIE AGAIN, & I'M CHOMPING AT THE BIT FOR THE SEQUEL--I HOPE THEY HURRY UP ON IT, BECAUSE I THINK I'M GOING TO HAVE WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOMS UNTIL THEN, & WILL PROBABLY WEAR OUT PLAYING THE DVD AFTER I BUY IT!!

NARNIA ROARS WITH SUCCESS!!

This movie has a GREAT plot, keeps you engaged thru to the end, & the characters have well-developed depth to them to the point that you believe they're real. It shows what every kid goes thru trying to grow up. Special effects are PHENOMENAL, & stays fairly true to the original book, which is always a pleasant surprise! So in summary, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this family adventure to all.

OK, this movie is predictable, but I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!! Patrick Dempsey & Michelle Monaghan were perfect together & made a really cute couple. The movie is FUNNY, entertaining, CLEAN, romantic, & Patrick Dempsey's performance was SO PERFECT, & SO FUNNY, he really was great. DON'T MISS THIS ONE, YOU'LL BE SORRY IF YOU DO!!!

FUNNY, FUNNY, FUNNY!!

I LOVED this movie!! It's sooooo funny. I personally think that both Cameron Diaz & Ashton Kutcher are very comedically talented, so both are 2 of my favs for comedy. It was a bit predictable, but very entertaining, so the movie went by really fast. I DEFINITELY recommend this one.
