Interesting mystery

Didn't read the book or see the previous movie. I thought this was a very good mystery; I couldn't figure out where the clues were going to take them in solving the murder. I thought the graphic violence relating to Lisabeth gave you an understanding of why she was so withdrawn; but with the sidestory, you could see the violence simmering just underneath the surface.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

One of the slowest movies I've spent money on in a while. The leadup to the wedding probably took 20 minutes; and felt like it took an hour! I liked the earlier movies, but this was too slow, too laden with incomprehensible (or uncomprehending) long looks from Kristen Stewart, and the wolves' CGI was pretty poor. I suspect they shot one movie then decided to maximize their revenue stream by splitting it into two. If I hadn't been eating chocolate throughout, I probably would have fallen asleep several times.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

That said (the title), we actually enjoyed the movie. The brooding male lead vampire, the lovesick human girl who wants to be with him forever; it was an entertaining experience. They put a couple small twists on the traditional vampire legends, the special effects weren't bad. The good vs bad (vampires) part of the story could have been better written. The setup for the sequel was obvious; I'm just wondering when it will come out. I think we'll probably go to see it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
