This is my kind of movie. It moved along at a moderate pace and was full of pleasant surprises, in spite of the fact that Angelina's character appeared rather tame. Nothing was as it appeared.
Every bit as good as the first two Chronicles yet refreshingly different. The story moves fast enough to keep interest without leaving out any important details, and no one can do it better than Disney.
This is a refreshing new take on an old classic., a screenplay set to the Nutcracker music background. There are songs and dances but the story takes the lead. I can hardly wait to get the DVD when it comes out.
This movie had all the elements I enjoy: suspense, heart, comedy, action, and romance, The characters were credible and I liked the villians, (a must for my favorites).
As a hard-core fan, I thought the director caught the spirit of the series very well. I enjoyed the subtle humor, beauty, and graceful dances. Looking forward to the sequel.
The movie was a little painful at first but became LOL funny when Puss in Boots came on the scene. I like the way traditional family values were presented and the high price of running away, even for a day.
Rumplestiltskin was an entertaining, if annoying, villian and the punishment fit the crime.
