Super Super Hero Movie

Although it never quite hit the emotional heights of the very best of the super hero movies (Spidey 1+2, Superman 1+2, X-men 1+2), Iron Man is a truly enjoyable comic book adaptation. The cast is top notch. Robert Downey is flat out fantastic as the lead, Tony Stark, and the script is smart enough to recognize that great superhero movies feature heroes who are more interesting out of their costumes than in them. If you are a fan of Marvel comics in general, stay for the credits. There's a brief scene at the very end that you won't want to miss.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
