Funny Movie

I went with a friend just to have something to do and had seen the advetisements for this one so we went. I DID find it very funny. I, personally, could have done without the opening scene with the baby and the hershey squirts....I found it disgusting but the rest of the audience was cracking up so obviously just a personal thing with me. It is just a funny movie and also down the road there is a message which I thought was very good. It doesn't seem to me that movies of this genre actually have a redeeming social message. Besides the laughter it even brought a tear of two to my eyes. I do think that the language could have been scaled back some...and I'm no prude myself. Just some of languate seemed unnecessary even for a trucker.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Mildly Entertaining

As my title suggests, I just found this movie mildly entertaining. If I had seen it at the cheap theatre I might have thought more of it but not at regular prices. Actually the storylines are disjointed or just altogether not there. I was seated at the beginning of the movie yet 10 minutes into it I felt like I must have been 20 minutes late. I could see what was happening but not WHY. Yeah, she's good looking but there is not any spark between her & "Frank" I just told a friend of mine last night that I'd wait until it came out on tv then at least you wouldn't feel like you got cheated because of the price. too bad as I was looking forward to the film
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Good Movie

Since there have been so many negative things said about this film I wasn't going to go spend the money. Yesterday it was supposed to be 97 in my town so went to use their air conditioning. I like Jeniffer Anniston very well and haven't seen Jason Bateman in a long time but alway slike him too. Someone before me said that the plot is a little lame.....it is but that doesn't mean I didn't thoroughly enjoy watching this movie. I'm sure it would never be an award winner but it is entertaining, I was never bored, loved the kid and would watch it again. Good job!

Just Entertaining

I am a 60 year old male that went to the movies yesterday to get out of the house while the housekeeper was here. I chose this movie because of the basket ball factor. I have to say that I was entertained all the way through. What some of the other reviews have pointed out are 100% true. There are holes in the script (in what movie is that an exception?), it is a romantic comedy. What romantic comedy isn't it a boy meets girl, something happens to keep them apart then by the end they are back together again? It is the genre. Like someone pointed out if you don't like this type of movie, go see a different kind of movie. For my money it was worth the price and got me out of the house for a change. I liked the movie.

Great Movie

I've seen several movies this year and The Bounty Hunter was the only one that that I actually found entertaining.....until Kick Ass! I went to this movie by myself because I was bored and didn't expect much. From beginning to end it was great. A lot of action, a lot of story line and a lot of things that made me laugh. The time went by so quickly I forgot to eat my $13 worth of popcorn & soda! I would recommend this movie to anyone.....it didn't offend me but the language is a bit rough for smaller children I'd think.

I saw this movie yesterday. I had read the user reviews first & thought it sounded funny. It sure was funny in places and I did like the running tale of the one armed bell hop but for me it was more like slap stick comedy than dialogue. The lady I was with is 20 years younger than me and she thought it was much more humorous than I did so there you have that. I wouldn't go see it again but didn't mind that I saw it once.

Horrible Movie

Apparently being an older white male and not a dope smoker I didn't think any part of this movie had any humor or merit. I am not into bathroom humor or just plain stupid things. Apparently the Monday afternoon audience I was part of also didn't appreciate it as I heard no one laugh at any part. I really felt like walking out but after paying $9.50 for the ticket I subjected myself to the entire movie and in the hope that maybe somewhere it would redeem itself. That was not meant to be! AWFUL!
