It was so good that I wanted it to go on. The title is the King's Speach but the character Lionel is the best part and the friendshipp formed between him and the king. Also the acting was so good that you understood his love for his wife and children, her love for him and the loneliness of being a royal.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I have not read the books but hear the highlights from my 13 year old daughter. I really liked the movie, my daughter loved it, my husband hated it. also the eye candy is great!
My only criticism is the acting of the girl who plays Bella, never once did I see a smile (there were times in the movie she was happy-I don't know if the character is supposed to be constantly anxious or what but it gets old) and her acting is flat. However, the girl who plays Alice is fantastic!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

My 15 year old and his two friends came out of the movie raving about theaction every minute of the movie. They loved it. My husband was not impressed.
