One of the best 3D effect movies I have seen in the theater. It was a well told stand alone movie. If you didn't see any of the other movie you will be ok

I truely thought that the movie was great. The cast was awesome. and even thought I knew what was really going to happen. I was still excited to see it. really the only problem that I had was they stuck and left for the most part of the move the orginal cast in a box and thats where they were. I would have like to have seen more of them. The one thing for me was there was seveal Kansas state historical figures in this movie to include Miss Able who was from Independence Kansas she was the first monkey in space. and of course Amelia Earhart who was born in Kansas.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I would have to say that this movie has been put into my Top 5 favorite scary ghost type movies. I think that they could have done a better job with the casting for the movie (i.e. the parents) but really they kept with the "true" events. But as any flick produced by Hollywood there was some effects put in for the big scares. As a paranormal reseacher this would be one of the greatest homes in the world to go to.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
