In my opinion, this movie lives up to the hype, and then some. Well done. Hopefully the hardcore fan base doesn't get too upset over the mainstream-ization of the series.
The only bad thing I can say about this movie is that it featured a little too much Spock, but that's really not so bad.
Probably the best cast I've ever seen put together. Bravo.

The coolest X-man gets his story told

Explains Wolfy's life story. Lots of growling and claws. Liev Schreiber is cast perfectly as Sabertooth.
Ryan Reynolds got buffed up for his role. Hopefully Deadpool will have his own feature film in the future.
A great action flick that just has to be seen at the movies to get the full effect.

McConaughey plays the same guy in every movie. Borrowing from "A Christmas Carol", you know the story. A cheesy date movie at best.

Lots of fighting

This movie will leave you feeling like a tough guy just from watching it.
The story is simple, and there are very few characters, so its very straightforward. The character that Terrence Howard plays has some interesting quirks and was very well done. The end of the movie was a bit anti-climactic when you realize that 1 of 2 possible outcomes still leaves the main character pretty well off. There's no sense of danger.

Increasing tension

You watch the poor guy get in trouble left and right, and you really feel bad for him. The story is familiar, and you pretty much know how things are going to turn out.
The tension from scene to scene can be enough to drive you mad. But then again, that may be exactly why you're at the movies.

Hype

Not as good as the hype would have you think. Sure Foxx is great in translating the life of a schizophrenic to us, but it is all too real as the story takes unexpected twists and turns down crazy lane.
Great acting, but the plot just takes the long way from point A to point B.
I'm still not sure how I feel about being taken for the ride.

Decent movie. Great photography

The only thing I was surprised about was the amount of violence shown in the movie. There were many children in the theater, and I'm not sure they were ready for what was shown.
However, life on Earth is full of fights and struggles, and to edit out the sad parts would take away the beauty of the happy parts. I was stunned at the beauty of some of the shots. This flick is definitely worth seeing.
Disney says it will plant a tree for every moviegoer who sees the film in the opening week, so take advantage of a little extra something that you don't always get to do.

Thomas Lennon is hilarious.
I also thought I didn't like Zac Efron, but he did a great job. Nice.
Brought back many memories of high school and related it perfectly into today's times. Excellent movie.

Geared towards young males

If you are a guy 13 - 30, you'll probably be into the fast and furious series. It's got lots of fast cars, beer, speedy action, and women.
Simple story, doesn't try to complicate things.
I was expecting a worse movie, but it was decent.

The lead character takes himself seriously. You shouldn't. This film is serious about sticking it to the man. If you love sticking it to the man, then see this.
