This movie seems to be the most lazily designed of all three. Hoffman barely makes an appearance, and he was the reason the second one did well.

This movie is about the fight outside of the ring as well as inside. Bale is the best I have ever seen him in this movie. Highly recommended!

Should have been better

You would think that with these 2 usually hilarious actors that this movie would be great. The problem is that it isn't. Very predictable story and repetitive humor. Like an unfunny SNL skit that just goes on and on and on...

This is a one of a kind movie that is geared toward younger viewers. Perhaps even a few older people will enjoy it's unique style.

I read quite a few reviews that say that this movie relies to heavily on special effects. In no way does it do that.
Surprisingly good performances by the entire cast. Decent plot. Maybe movies based on video games have finally come around.

One of the best adaptations

What do you get when you add Russell Crowe to the direction of Ridley Scott? A great flick that has as much action as it does heart. One of the best Robin Hood movies ever.

Floating in and out of nightmare dream sequences. Teenagers run around confused. Nothing much more than that.
Freddy is at his best as Haley, but something is missing. I can't exactly tell what it is, but this movie seems to be trying to cash in on the concept of "Elm Street". I liked him better as Rorschach. Could have been SOOO much more, but falls very short.

Great cinematography

Great moments captured on film. The sound mixing was expertly done and you will definitely notice and appreciate it.
A few violent parts may make children jump, like the sight of killer whales munching on cute cuddly sea lions, and gulls swooping up baby sea turtles for a snack.
But then again, that is the way of nature.
The narrating is done well by Pierce Brosnan.
I only wish there were more facts and information to learn, and not merely narration and prose.
Go see this during opening week and Disney will make a donation to save the coral reefs. Not sure what throwing money at coral reefs will do, but at least you can feel good about seeing this instead of the mediocre selection of films currently being offered in theaters.
