I have three daughters, so of course we had to see it. It felt like a real portrayal of his life, not scripted like the Jonas Brothers movie a few years ago. He has a great group of people around him, guiding him on his journey. He seems very genuine in his love for music, and he is amazingly talented. We all loved the movie, and I could have kept watching for a couple more hours. It was that good! Go see it!
My kids have read all the books many times and loved the movie. As a mom of a middle schooler, I appreciated the message of just being yourself rather than changing for the sake of being popular. I think the message might have been too subtle for the kids to get.
