I am a 41yr old mom of 3. I had read all the books prior to letting my 11yr old read them to make sure they were appropriate and fell in love with them myself. That said, when we saw Twilight we were both horribly disappointed and frankly, if it weren't for my 11yr old, I wouldn't have gone to see New Moon just to avoid further disappointment.
But I am *SO* glad that I did attend the premier. It was far better than Twilight across the board. We laughed, we cried, and we saw the story that was burned in our memory come alive the way it should be.
Kudos to the new director and the entire cast. We can't wait to see Eclipse if it is anything like this!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
