Kept expecting things to jump out at me

Very effective at foreboding of things to come - I kept expecting surprises to jump out of nowhere. Nothing altogether that shocking jumped out though. A very fine job at misdirection - that if the movie concluded how I was suspecting midway through would have been completely satisfying. How it did play out still kept the tension high and was ultimately OK if just in a downbeat way. Good performances all the way around.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
