Good rendition-3d limited to within the screen

We left the theatre wanting more. I felt that the 3d effects were limited to within the screen window. Nothing really jumped out at you as the previews led you to believe. Although the movie rendition was good and the 3d was otherwise good, I'm used to much bigger IMAX screen and was disappointed at the smaller screen size at the particular theatre we saw it at. The images may be frightening to the very young and the ending seemed to be crammed together.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
