B V - Intense

Saw BV at Sundance earlier this year. Incredible. Ryan and Michelle pour everything into this film. Considering what was going on with MW at the time, she had come through a lot, sort of like peeling back the protection and exposing the wires. Gosling's performance should earn him an Oscar nod. Kudos to director Derek Cianfrance for staying true to his vision from start to finish, from script, actors, and what ended up on the screen. Anyone who has struggled in a relationship will find this almost claustrophobic in its accurate portrayal of a marriage/relationship whose wheels are coming off. There is no relief 'cept inward and downward through our own hearts. Well done
