Producers Miss The Point

Who decided to villify an extremely talented, bright and sensitive American youth who created a global phenomenon which has spawned a whole other generation of similar projects?
Lets us hope that these current The Facebook imitators who were inspired by Mark Zuckerberg are encouraged and allowed to express themselves in a supportive environment which gives their genius the space to develop.
Needless to say we are desperate for people like Mark and his imitators to role model the next generation of geniuses who as we know may not be social conformists, but certainly do not deserve to be portrayed in the negative because they do not conform to the conventional ...
To say that Mark was "not actually an ****hole but trying very hard to be' would be, in my opinion a more appropriate description of the producers, screenwriter and director of this film.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Must See Anti-War Movie

This movie had a tremendous impact upon me. Not since The Deer Hunter have I had
such a strong anti-war sentiment.
Director Jim Sheridan seems to have gotten almost flawless performances from his most talented cast. Kudos to the screenwriters for not creating a predictable
"Hollywood " story. In my opinion this movie is a must in these most precarious times.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Not To Be Missed

Although some of the scenes were difficult to watch I feel that they made us understand that things are not 'black and white."
Director Lee Daniels brings us 'down and dirty' into the relationships between mother and daughter, for example. Mo'Nique is so
'raw and real' in her performance that Im still
'with her' this morning, after seeing the movie last night. Mariah Carey, Paula Patton and the other cast members were
excellent. I left the movie with a feeling of hope.I think the movie shows the triumph of the human spirit...
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Terrific Tarantino..

Once again Tarantino gets wonderful
performances from his actors. He is closeup
and personal with the camera and
had me on the edge of my seat for most
of the 2 and one half hours. I think that he is
a one of a kind movie maker and we are
lucky that he keeps at it..
In my opinion the screenplay was quite
interesting and not predictable....
I am looking forward to his next venture..
Yes, I recommend this movie.

It is a pleasure to watch a movie which has a
beautifully written screenplay. The story is
enhanced by wonderful acting, amazing directing and editing, and marvellous music.
Im running out of superlatives here....
As with really great art, this film can be enjoyed
on many levels. I found myself totally involved
with the characters and the story. I think that
Slumdog Millionaire will be with me for some time to come...
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Milk

In my opinion, 'Milk" is one of the best movies I have seen in years. It seems that the producers have assembled the best of everyone from the director and writers, to the cast, crew, editors, etc. etc. and so forth.
Sean Penn gives an Oscar-winning performance. The supporting cast were all marvellous. For more than 2 hours I could not hear a sound in the theatre, as everyone was totally engrossed. Run, do not walk, to see this
riviting and important film...
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Vicky Cristina Barcelona

An interesting satire of 'relationships', reminiscent of the relationships portrayed on Seinfeld. I thought that the acting and directing and casting were outstanding, on the par with the best of Woody Allen's movies. In my opinion, Penope Cruz gave the most compelling performance. She has an amazing presence and energy. The gigilo was played perfectly by Javier Bardem. The movie was satire at Allen's best. But I think best understood by Woody Allen's ' regulars'.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
