Ok so there is something that bothers me about when they put little kids in a movie and have them use "adult words" just to get a crowd to laugh- when it comes down to it- these movies attract little kids--Kids see a little kids in a movie and they really want to see it, like my daughter. So here is the BEWARE--not sure that this is really even appropriate for a "PG-13 year old kid"
Reasons to see this movie; 1. There were a few funny parts-Paul Rudd and Jason Biggs were responsible for that 2. Eva Longoria fans-she's in it
Reasons to save your money; 1. This is one of those movies that will probably be going to DVD pretty soon. 2. Overall I would say that there were very few people on a Friday night watching this movie and after seeing it-the "lack of attendance for this showing" makes sense
The Goods; 1. Makes you think about how much fun money really is 2. Fun ending 3. A good reminder to never lick your fingers while counting money. The Bads; 1. No real moral to the story line 2. Not exactly any of these ladies strongest acting gigs Overall didn't expect much from this movie therefore not too disappointed but if you go in expecting Oscar winning performances- be prepared to be disappointed
Couple Things that this movie will make you want to do; 1. Install some antiviral software on you computer 2. Stay away from "no, no sites" 3. Never meet people off of the internet in person 4. Check the back seat of your car before getting in Overall this movie was a nice thriller and very realistic as the previous critic said- this could happen to anyone. Makes you think twice about the information you give to people and how much privacy you really have in this world (which is very little if you think about it)
Why I am glad I saw this movie; 1. All the crazy dresses-reminded me of Barbie 2. James Marsden-the hottie 3. funny movie 4. I like Katherine Heigl she reminds me of Charlize Theron What I didn't like about this movie 1. I don't think she played a very strong character when she needed to towards the end-(in the beginning her weakness was ok because it was part of the storyline)-she kinda played passive aggressive when she needed to be really strong--wish that she would have kicked her sister's butt instead.
This movie was a little slow to pick up because there was a lot of mumbo jumbo history talk in the beginning that leaves you kinda feeling like you are watching the History Channel until the end where it becomes a little more fun-the end I think really saved it and India Jones type ending.
I usually don't like tear jerker type movies but this was quite refreshing because it was a feel good type of movie. Yes I did have a knot in my throat much of the movie but it also made me think about how much I love husband in my own life. And it gave me a whole new love for Irish men.
Before watching Enchanted I though that this was going to be a cheesy, bad acting, waste my money type of movie. However, I was pleasantly suprised. It was cute, fun, and you leave with a good feeling afterwards. I will buy this movie when it comes out. Even my husband liked it!!
