Pleasant enough family fare

An obvious ripoff of "It's A Wonderful Life", but the movie is a nice way to spend some fun family time together during the hot summer days. Not as good as the other Shrek movies, but still enjoyable enough.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Fun For All

Great family movie. Saw it with wife and a bunch of kids (11 year-old boys and 9 year-old girs). The boys liked it more with the action and Jack Black humor, but the girls still enjoyed the funny, touching story and the cute panda. For an adult, it was enjoyable and positive, not insultingly stupid like some kid flicks. I'd recommend it for parents with boys as a sure thing, but it's a good time for anyone.
