James Cameron brings to life a visually appealing movie that leaves you in awe of how far 3-D has come. As a story it has a tale as old as movie making itself. Without giving too much away, it reminds you of a Jimmy Stewart cowboy and Indian western or some similar tale where the Calvary guide falls for the Indian chief's daughter.
The story moves along at a pace that works well for you in your 3-D induced state of mind. The acting is believable and on point. You will enjoy the chemistry between the two main characters. The 2 hours and 40 minutes will go by in a spectacular visual blitz, and leave you feeling money very well spent.
If you're a fan of groundbreaking films like the Matrix and hoping for a return of the Keanu magic, well my friends, this film "ain't it!"
I went to see this film wanting to enjoy it. What I came away with was a movie that is nothing more than the trailers you have already seen.
We have a story that is about as much fun as watching paint dry. Without giving away too much, Jennifer and Keanu have no magic on the screen together. And worst are the scenes between Jennifer and Jayden (Will smiths son). Can anyone say, "Another kid, acting bad to parents acting like children?"
Special effects save the film from being another Battefield Earth. Wait for this on DVD folks!
