Very Pretty, So-So Acting and Story

It was a very visually pleasing movie. It was my first 3D movie and I was impressed. Although some of the previews looked even better. I thought that the acting and storyline were only okay. I also thought the aliens appearance was too close to human. I would have liked to see a little more imagination. They have white teeth and fingernails on their fingers. I felt like the acting was on par with the acting in cut scenes from a video game. However, I would definitely recommend seeing this movie in the theatre, because it's not gonna be as good at home.

Guy Ritchie has made another spectacular movie. Definitely different than the older Sherlock Holmes movies, but still an awesome movie. Can't wait for the next one.

I've never liked Star Trek movies and it wasn't really my choice to go see it, but it was surprisingly pretty good. However, it was still a little too much of big spaceships shooting big lasers at each other for me. Most of the characters were really well done though.

It felt like they spent too much time on the setup and then had to speed through the rest of the movie. Characters weren't setup well. I wasn't impressed.
