This is all the usual stuff; car chases, explosions, fights, all the things you expect in a Batman/Superhero movie. Everything you've heard about Heath Ledger's performance is true, he is fantastic as the Joker. His character really draws you in as you try to figure out his motivation. All that makeup can't hide his facial expressions which make the character so real. I know they don't give awards to action movies, but Ledger's performance certainly deserves one!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
