Very well done! I had read Burrough's books in my teens (40 years ago) and didn't think the movie could live up to my imagination, but it was great. I could quibble with the relentless fast pace, or the plot complexity, but I was relieved that the dialog was not snarky, the leads were appropriately heroic, and the many races of Barsoom were wonderfully realized. This movie is great, old-fashioned, epic science fiction, I enjoyed it in 3D, soundtrack was plenty loud!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
