I was not expecting much from this version of a timeless classic -- but I was pleasantly surprised. Overall, it was a true adaptation from Dickens' original -- but a shorter version. The 3D was amazing -- it just gets better with each movie experience. I did see it with my kids (ages 14, 12 and 8). It was scary -- especially toward the end. I would not bring squeamish kids or littler than 8.
