Excellent transitional movie. It stands alone as a very good piece of cinema but, as a transition to the finale, it is excellent. Not to give anything away, but I found it refreshing that they did not decide to beat us over the head with the big tragedy at the end. I was rocked badly enough by the book, i was not looking forward to going through that again. So I was pleased with the way it was handled.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
