I.O.U.S.A. is a documentary that every citizen must see, especially those who personally subscribe to deficit spending. It reviews the economic situation of the US Federal Government, and it is one big fat Deficit. The graphic presentation of the inertia of the budget deficit since our country was founded is well presented and shows the the wide swings that can only lead to disaster. David Walker is depicted as a courageous man and the US's top accountant for almost 9 years. Most alarmingly shown was the trade deficit and Warren Buffet simplifies the ramifications of this problem. One needs to see it a few times to really understand all the concepts presented and internalize the problem and do something about it!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
