Classic romance! Think Titanic but not so long and nobody drowns, Moulin rouge without the music.. Anyway, with the loss of drowning, and music, we add Rosy, the elephant, who I'm sure will win best supporting actress. She's sad, flirty, happy, angry, tearful, then heroic, and she SPEAKS POLISH! Rosy is a treat, and so is this film. If you have a romantic bone in your body, must see!!
Pure decadence..the saturated colors, the eye candy from the wallpaper forward, jeweled chandeliers...men in speedos, Miranda really happy, and Liza Minelli singing "Single Ladies" with a full Byonce' strut alongside two Liza look a likes...of course there's the wonderful message that no matter how old you are if you allow it..the best is yet to come..everyone I know will watch this 100 times without ever tiring of it...Carrie on!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

It had it's moments that made it worth seeing. Was it the best, most Romantic comedy ever? No. A lot is going on, and some of our favorite actors are charming. During the closing credits Julia Roberts reminds us of Pretty Woman....were the writers reminding us to rent that oh, so much better movie? I think so...
