What a great time! I am so dissapointed in the movie reviews as I found the movie fantastic for anyone 45 and under. If you grew up with Speed and the Racer family, you found yourself reliving childhood memories. I took my kids (twice now) and they LOVED it ... It's bright, it's wild, sit up high and enjoy the ride!
Other than one rude gesture, that wasn't necessary, the film was a "safe" place to take your kids without fear of bad words and inappropriate behavior.
