We took our kids to see this movie -- 13 year old boy, 12 year old girl. It was one of their first "grown up" movies, and it was a great choice. We all enjoyed it, there were very few "scary" parts, and it gave us a lot to talk about together afterwards.
I saw and loved Borat, and so I was expecting a Borat-like movie. Instead, I got a movie that wasn't really funny. It was cringe-funny, sometimes, but more often it was just cringe. It wasn't really funny very often, which was a bummer. After a while I really just found myself wondering how much longer until it was over. Several others walked out. I will say that I heard the twenty-somethings sitting beside us raving about the movie on the way out, but I feel like I need a shower.
