I enjoyed this second story in the Narnia cycle. If one has not seen a modern 3D film, that is an added experience. This segment is a good story, although I liked the first segment better. The appearance of Aslan is the crowning point, and he did not disappoint this time either. The adventures on the tropical islands did seem a bit repetitive, so script planning with more variety would have been helpful.
This was the Metropolitan Opera live plus all the added features of back-stage interviews and so on. It was better than a complete DVD with the typical extras included on one of them. This is the way to learn about opera, especially the really great ones like La Boheme. Anyone interested in this art form and in learning more about it should take full advantage of the opportunity to see these productions at such modes cost.
