What happened to CERN?

A great movie unless you read the book! The conflict was based on CERN recreating the Big Bang Theory, and possibly "debunking" creationism. The Director of CERN , a MAIN CHARACTER, is not in the movie! Big Bang got ONE sentence in the script. Why was The Pope was murdered? Because science changed his life. Gee, totally missing from the plot. So, if not for his love of science, why was he murdered? This turned into "Find the bomb before they kill four Cardinals..." Oh, wait, the plot got changed again. Just don't remove 60% of the plot line. It's like ordering a hot dog , but they decided you really don't need the meat. When wrapped up, the bun & condiments look the same...who'll know? I will...the guy that bought it.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
