awesome effects, flat acting

The acting from the three leads in this film, DiCaprio, Gordon-Levitt, and Page, was so beige that I was constantly mindful that I was watching three actors pretend to be in a movie about dreams. I could never suspend my disbelief long enough to just enjoy the ride. The rest of the cast was awesome, (especially Tom Hardy), and the effects are worth the ticket price. The film could have been about something more meaningful, and frankly all the alternate realities were just gimmicky and too much to keep track of. Other than that, it was a good time.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
